Born in 2018 in Atlanta GA. In addition to painting starting at 2 years old, she is a working model, an up and coming ballroom dancer, obsessed with gymnastics, and a devoted Brazilian Jiu Jitsu marital artist. In addition to painting, she loves to help her parent with photography at Spearman Studios, play outside with her best friends, and do "fashion shows" at home complete with makeup, (temporary) tattoos, and elaborate outfits that she designs herself! A fiercely independent adventurer, she brings enthusiasm and joy to every facet of her life.
Her art has been featured in Atlanta's High Museum of Art, and at multiple events with Reeves House at Woodstock Arts. She does events and pop-ups regularly, follow on Instagram to stay notified on what's next!
We believe in helping reduce waste as much as possible in the creation of art! Donated or rescued and repaired canvases are used frequently, as well as leftover paint. Other "rescued" materials for texture include styrofoam, plastic, tissue paper, confetti, even fabric scraps and deflated balloons.
Throwing paint, splashing with her feet and rolling her whole body around on the canvas, exploding water balloons filled with paint, swinging the canvas through the air as part of a dramatic dance... if you can imagine it, she's done it! A broom as a paint brush, bouncing painted balls on the canvas, spray bottles of paint. It's a full body experimental experience every time, and there are no rules whatsoever - just wildly creative fun!
Sunsets, colorful animals, beautiful flowers, and so much more of nature help her choose color schemes. She also gets inspiration from her own fashion or from friend's outfits!
Wardi Saeed is a true Egyptian girl and often asks to listen to Arabic music while she works, as well as Salsa music. She will dance while she paints, often throwing paint to the beat of the music or creating brush strokes in time to her own singing.
Wardi Saeed is currently featuring 14 pieces on the gallery wall at Ripe & Fresh in Acworth, and is curating an upcoming collection for an exclusive 60+ foot gallery space at The Hive and The Venue in Kennesaw.
